Question

Is there a way to have preview "show" that it is a preview page? The default skin would show a wallpaper behind the text saying "PREVIEW" in big red letters.

Environment

TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Windows 2000
Web server: Apache -
Perl version:
Client OS: Windows 2000/XP

Answer

The wallpaper is still there, it is only partly hidden by the topic background (white with blue border). The title says "preview"...
Perhaps a modified wallpaper that shows the word preview better would fit your needs. BTW, this image can be set in TWikiPreferences.

Unfortunately, we seem to be missing the, "Preview" wallpaper so the background is blank.. This is the first Skin installed. What would be the syntax to add to TWikiPreferences to get this activated?

Thanks

It's under Miscellaneous settings:

* Set PREVIEWBGIMAGE = %PUBURLPATH%/%TWIKIWEB%/PreviewBackground/preview2bg.gif

Download the background image here

Thanks for the info. However, I just noticed that the Preview function doesn't seem to be working properly... When "preview" is selected, it automatically saves the page-- perhaps I should create a new question on this. Thx
