Question

People are registering on my TWiki and editing pages inappropriately to add links to warez sites etc. They get away with this in part by checking the "Minor Changes - don't notify" box. As admin, I want to have the option of being notified even if that box is checked...is that possible? I generally check it out when new users register but it would be nice to have a better way of tracking down site defacements other than grepping the log file.

I have tried searching your site for this but I am getting way too many hits back to efficiently find the answer - please help!

Answer

You can't turn of the flag with the current notification. Well, you could remove the minor changes checkboxes and buttons from the skin you are using.

The ImmediateNotifyPlugin might do what you want.

The BlackListPlugin is quite effective in catching WikiSpam.
