Question

Hello

I'm currently trying to get my wiki running save. After my other postings it seems that i'm locked out. Always get 403 Forbidden!

Need immediately help

Now it says the following :

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

I tried to fix something on a .htaccess in the root (TWiki is in the /twiki folder) can this influence twiki ?

In configure.pl i can switch off

Sessions You can use persistent CGI session tracking even if you are not using login. This allows you to have persistent session variables - for example, skins. Client sessions are not required for logins to work, but TWiki will not be able to remember logged-in users consistently. See TWikiUserAuthentication for a full discussion of the pros and cons of using persistent sessions. Session files are stored in the {TempfileDir}. {UseClientSessions}?

then i can relogin to my wiki but authentification's not working anymore ...

Make sure the /home/httpd/vhosts/idotter.ch/httpdocs/twiki/tmp/ directory is readable/writable by your webserver user.

Now i can see the frontend but can't edit: TWiki detected an internal error - please check your TWiki logs and webserver logs for more information.

RCS: failed to create file path: Permission denied

Until yesterday it worked good for about 1 month. then i changed something in a htaccess-file in the root and now this.

can you imagine whats wrong ?

"tmp" is readable/writeableof course

couldn't open '/home/httpd/vhosts/idotter.ch/httpdocs/twiki/tmp/cgisess_bb43d74eb6e02f39513e111969af4809': Permission denied is an indication that the webserver user (www-run, nobody or the like) has no access to the twiki/tmp directory, or the files in it. Please fix the permissions.
