Question

Hello,

I was wondering howto to use the repository for Plugins at Sourceforge. I read ReadmeFirst but this seems to be somewhat unfinished.

I saw too on sourceforge that no plugin uses this at all up to now. I have the feeling that all suffer from some kind of strange development procedure, which consists of patches, which are pasted on Twiki pages.

The background for my question is, that I developed a plugin, which I would like to release in the Plugin Web. I decided some months ago to wait until the CVS procedure is established, but there does not seem to be much progress.

So what is the status? Who could give me a CVS account?

Answer

The Plugins CVS repository is still work in progress, actually it is currently on hold. We are looking for an owner who can drive this.

All Plugins stored in CVS should still be published in the Plugins web. The idea is to have (sometimes unstable) code in CVS, and a stable package in the Plugins web.

For now please create a Plugins package and create a Plugins topic in the Plugins web.
