Question

I am trying to create a status report topic that is created by piecing together several sub-topics in %INLCUDES%. This is working great. The problem I need to solve is how to save the state of that main document (the one that INCLUDES all of the others) weekly.

In other words once everyone had updated their status report for the week I want to capture the state of all of them somehow for historical purposes.

Any ideas?

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

Only certain variables gets expanded at topic creation time, see TWikiTemplates

You can have control over variable expansion, it is implemented but not yet documented in the release. See ControlOverVariableExpansion.

This is FANTASTIC!! We are on 4.1.2 right now so will have to upgrade. It is exactly what I am looking for. I tested it out in the Sandbox here and it works as I expected it to. Thank you very much for all your effort and quick response!!
