Question

How can I save form data without an edit/preview/save cycle? If I attach the form to a template, the template data doesn't get written to the form metadata until I reach the edit page (ie I can't just set the form action to save). Thanks in advance!

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

That capability is not in CairoRelease but will be in DakarRelease. It may already be a stable feature in DevelopBranch. I know it was close and may be ready for beta-testing. I do know It's a feature I've been wanting for some time. smile

Actually this should already work in the current TWikiRelease04Sep2004. In the form action, replace edit with save.
