Question

My team are all new to wikis and we are trying to teach people who are also new. Our problem is that we cannot see any way to logoff.

The issue is that when we have 30 people all trying to logon as TWikiGuest to try their hand at it, and they constantly get a message that TWikiGuest is editing, they will get mightly confused and just not bother.

IS there a logoff button? How can we add it to our pages?

This seems so simple I feel foolish asking it, but we have searched your site and cannot find this information anywhere!

thanks

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

TWikiGuest is the user id you get if you are not logged in - so there is indeed no logoff for TWikiGuest. If your users can't (or don't want to) register individually at your local TWiki.TWikiRegistration page, there is little you can do about that... perhaps adding them all with TWiki.BulkRegistration in advance would help.

Thanks, that makes sense I guess!
