Question

Read all that I found on this following installation before installing: Installed ActiveState Perl 5.8.8 cygwin 1.5.24-2 Twiki 4.1.2 perl, cygwin, and rcs - work based on tests updated manually the localsite.cfg ran configure.pl - it displayed a very short page. I think it was suppose to ask you questions. At the top, there was a "Browse to Twiki Web Home".. its link points to: http://localhost/twiki/bin/NOT%20SET/view/TWiki/WebHome

Notice: The "Not Set" - I think the localsite.cfg is incorrect/incomplete...

Tried the view.pl also and got a similar error.

Any ideas?

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

you will need to find out where IIS keeps its error log, to track back to why configure is not running prpoerly :/

IIS and perl cgi's are not simple - you may like to consider using one of the apache on windows options - its faster and we know more about it (If you are a perl IIS developer, please help us debug and fix the issue)
