Question

There are various places that suggest one can combine TABLE and EDITTABLE. I cannot work out how to do this.

I would like TABLE to care care of the display of the table and EDITTABLE to support the editing of the table content.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease02Sep2004
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin,SpreadSheetPlugin,CommentPlugin,EditTablePlugin,InterwikiPlugin,RenderListPlugin,SlideShowPlugin,SmiliesPlugin,TablePlugin
Server OS: Redhat linux
Web server: Apache 2.0
Perl version: 5.8
Client OS: MS Windows 2000
Web Browser: Firefox

I don't understand this question, cause one can use

%TABLE%
%EDITTABLE%
calls following each other. The one thing that doesn't work is merged cells, one can't edit merged cells with EditTablePlugin even they are (more or less) sortable via the TablePlugin. Could you please be some more specific?

I thought I had tried all permutations, but missed one. Interchange TABE and EDITTABLE. Following your example, the problem is now resolved.

My final result is in HowToCombineTABLEandEDITTABLE
