Question

When I create a subweb, I get the following error: (parent web Fabric, subweb Validation)

During save of Fabric/Validation.WebHome an error was found by the version control system. Please notify your TWiki administrator.

Can't create file /tmp/xxx_Fabric/Validation_WebPreferences.txt - No such file or directory at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/CGI/Carp.pm line 314

The web still gets created, but when I try to save an edit on any topic, including new ones, I get the same error.

Why is it trying to create a file in /tmp/xxx_Fabric? My {TempfileDir} is /tmp/twiki/.

{EnableHierarchicalWebs} is on.

Thanks, Andrew

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

That sounds like something a plugin might be doing. What plugins do you have installed?

Thanks for your help. I have found out that the problem is being caused by the FlowchartPlugin. Shall write a message on the Dev page.

For reference, I have the same problem with FlowchartPlugin, although I hadn't noticed before that the problem specifically occurred with subwebs. It was very helpful to me to find this topic, so I just wanted to add a note to make it clear that it's not just Andrew having the problem :-b.
