Question

I just installed the TWiki on a hosted location and am having some difficulty. I've managed to get configure to run: http://marinwoodassociation.org/twiki/bin/configure

  • Update: I've figured it out. In my path I was setting it to public_html/twiki/data (for example) but it was supposed to be set to home/username/public_html/twiki/data. After that change the errors disappeared. I still can't see my TWiki or run other twiki programs like rewriteshbang.pl. I'll investigate further and maybe post a different support question. But it throws some errors I can't seem to resolve, including the "Error Could not create test file" for the configurationlog.txt, debug.txt, warnDATE.txt and logDATE.txt.

I've double-checked the permissions on those files and that directory. They are set to 755.

When I try to run other TWiki programs I get a 500 error: http://marinwoodassociation.org/twiki/bin/view

I looked at the previous support topics where the same errors existed but was non-plussed. I think it is a path error, but I don't know where to begin.

Any help would be mighty appreciated!
