Question
I added a new Web to my TWiki server and try to edit the TWikiWebsTable. If I select the Edit Link I get the input area but all empty. It is possible to type somthing in and save it but I want to edit the table not create a new one. Is there an permission problem?
.
- TWiki version: (September 2001?)
- Web server: Apache 1.3.22
- Server OS: FreeBSD 4.4
- Web browser: Konqueror
- Client OS: FreeBSD 4.4

Answer
Strange. Can you go to your
TWikiWebsTable in the TWiki web and hit Edit there? Can you edit other pages correctly?

I can't edit
TWikiWebsTable with de edit link in the table and can't edit it with the edit link at the end of the page. Edit for example TWiki.Twiki.WelcomeGuest isn't any problem. This works great and all other pages to. I'll take a look at the permissions. I can copy paste the source of TWikiWebsTable but this is only a workaround.

I have setup my second twiki server and I have the same problem. The Server is online so maybe it helps if you take a look at
my server
. Try to edit the
TWikiWebsTable or the
TWikiRegistrationForm
. There must be an mistake but I didnt find any hint.

I have done a small debugging session and put some print statements in
the sourcecode of edit. This shows me that twiki reads the file
correct and I try to edit my own TWikiWebsTable with another
browser. It works. I can edit the files with lynx without any
problem.
So the problem maybe KDE konqueror not twiki. Can anybody reproduce this
problem?

Maybe late answer, but I had the same problem. Red Hat 7.2 server. KDE Konqueror does not work on this very topic. But I can edit with IE from a Win2k workstation. One more cheer for Bill!
