Re: HardBacklinkPlugin: The blog world has its referrer / trackback stuff, this is something similar. I don't think expanding the concept to listing all referrers (not only internal ones) would hurt. But maybe a ReferrerPlugin is a different concept after all?

OK, I think what I had in mind was something to add on to i.e. TopicReadersPlugin in simply providing more statistical information the user (controlfreaks dig this stuff).

Basically just a count for the number of times a HTTP_REFERRER link was found, and a statistical possibility to drag this info per week/month etc, tracking the development of the visitor count to ones topic.
