I'm planning to go (as I'm based in Denmark I guess it's just too hard to find an excuse :-)).
I never attended any official wiki gatherings before, so I'm naturally pretty excited about this. Hope to see some of you fellow TWiki-meisters there!

I have been at the first austrian
WikiPosium
last year. Don't be too excited about such events. #twiki at IRC is much more productive.
Have fun anyway!

Ah, setting my expectations low is the key to being positively surprised, I hear you say?
Must admit that basic stuff, like
knowing what it's like to be in a setting and not be 'the wiki nerd', but just 'one in a crowd' is not at all the part that I'm least interested in ..

We have rented a summer house in France so I am afraid I am going to miss this one. Buh! It could have been fun now that it is close to home.
It could have been fun to meet in person. But there will be other events.

I will attend WikiSym Monday and Tuesday (not sure about Wednesday yet), and will be driving to and from the location in Odense - about a 1½ hour drive from my place. I am aware that hotel prices can be a bit steep in Denmark, so I would be happy to accomodate one or two parties if interest be.
