We've set up TWiki with Apache-SSL, using encryption and authenticating via digital certificates.

We use a non-standard skin with javascript menus for changing webs and lots of CSS to make it look easier to the eye.

We wrote several extensions to TWiki: the ability to deal with portuguese-language plurals and accents in WikiWords, the TicketWiki concept (we'll post the patches soon), multiple templates in one web, searching based on category table values, etc.
