TwikiOnWindowsInstallerNotOnTWikiDotOrg

Is there any particular reason why this TWikiOnWindows installer has been linked to from twiki.org but has not been uploaded to it?

From the point of view of a TWiki user with casual/limited knowledge of the more esoteric aspects of twiki culture I am probably going to be somewhat more cautious about downloading an installer for my windows system that has not come from TWiki.org directly, thereby undergoing the peer-review inherent in such an act as uploading it to this forum.

Just one guy talking... feel free to delete this topic if/when this issue/question is resolved/answered.

There are several reasons why I havn't - firstly was because something I did when I first started releaseing the installers before 4.2 was released. Now its more because it reduces the load on twiki.org, and, well, because I chose to have them there - kinda a version of the cool uri thing.

Luckily, your 'attitide' is rare - there have been over 2,000 downloads of the installers very month, and surprisingly, the number is still rising!

The bigger question is why I've not found time to release the source to the builders (or to update the debian package).
