Glossary of Terms Particular to TWiki
T
Topic: pretty much a synonym for what is called a
page most other places on the world wide web.
TopicAction: primarily used in templates as a variable (%TOPICACTION%), it refers to the actions which can be applied to a topic:
edit, attach, print, preview, etc.
W
Web: TWiki's main major method of dividing/segregating/categorizing topics. On twiki.org you can see the Webs
Main | TWiki | Codev | Plugins | Support | Sandbox. In templates and/or preferences is the %WIKIWEBLIST% variable. Also called
areas, zones, sections (see
RenameWebToZone).
Seems to me there is another topic somewhere (TWiki web) that started an effort like this -- you (someone) may wish to combine the efforts. -- RandyKramer - 09 Apr 2003
Yes, Randy,
page about the same
topic exists in Twiki

oops. I searched Codev and Support for glossary but not the TWiki web. I'm so used to skipping it because it is an "this is official don't touch unless you need to" area that in a real sense it just ceased to exist for me.
