A combination of Wiki, LXR, and ViewCVS, and perhaps also WikiAsSourceCodeControl (I can't find the page just now) and Literate Programming, might indeed be
very neat. Note also
SelfProgrammingWiki on Meatball
. I'm pondering superficial LXR and ViewCVS integration for a hypothetical Parrot VM development wiki.

I've implementing a SelfProgrammingWiki in Perl, at
*
http://purl.net/net/spw
A SelfProgrammingWiki is a wiki where you can edit the actual code of the wiki, much like you edit the textual content on normal wikis. The system now has enough functionality for users to submit patches against its codebase --- this only takes a couple of minutes (you can see an example at
SpwWiki:SpwTutorial
).
Please drop by and help design/improve the system if you are interested. Also, I would be interested in adding
LiterateProgramming to the system.
