Why not change the name of the Test web to Sandbox?

Justification:

• Test can cause conflicts in many organizations, in mine (university, IC design), we do a lot of circuit testing, so it sure caused some initial confusions, until I did the aforementioned change.
• Sandbox would probably be a lot less conflicting (only cases I can think of: sand handling companies, toys, computer virus companies).

Probably this would all be solved if there was some general instalation script that could change the name of the webs as needed.

Yup. Sandbox or scratchpad. Though, whatever you choose someone will always object :^)
