To get rid of all the automatically generated out-of-office replies Mailnotification should be done with the line
Precedence: bulk

What do you think?

I like the idea, at least somewhat -- what other choices for precedence exist? I'm guessing (without knowing) that there are only two, and I hate to see mail from TWiki being lumped with spam. But, if there were three (priority, normal, bulk ??), I'd prefer to rank TWiki mail with normal, with the idea that I would not send out of office replies on normal, only on priority. Well, or even better, hope that there are four levels of priority and assign TWiki to some precedence that ranked above bulk but below normal, and one that would not automatically get out of office replies.
On the other hand, how many spam mailers (people) set their mail precedence to bulk anyway (or is that somehow automatically detected)?
Or, to try it one more time -- the idea sounds intriguing and may be excellent, but I don't know enough about how email is handled to understand all the ramifications. If someone could comment (or point me to a clear, concise, to the point resource) that would be very helpful.

I believe that bulk mail is defined as anything that is not intending directly at the recipient. I believe, therefore, that mail from TWiki definitely counts as
bulk
