I was just looking through the
support front page and getting frustrated at having to open every topic to see the status of the queries, and it occurred to me, wouldn't it be better to show the
end of the topic rather than the
start (or, better, have that option in a %SEARCH)? The rationale is that most topics grow at the bottom, so the most recent interesting changes are usually there. The top is a fine place to show for definition topics and documentation etc, but for changes it's not so hot.
Note that the
change script in
DakarRelease actually focuses in on the actual changes already; this request is aimed primarily at %SEARCH.

While that would be a sensible enhancement to SEARCH, the support home page would benefit if we could display just the value of the status field, for instance on a 3rd line after the topic "summary".

erm, the support front page
only lists asked questions, so it's a bit academic. By "status" I really meant recent discussion.

how about we show the changed bits? which normally will be an addition at the end... this was always what we really wanted in the
WebChanges lists.. and the improved diffs functionality goes part of the way there
so adding a $diff(50)
