Saving the topic would collect all keywords and store keyword/topic/web relation into a dedicated index. Also extend search function to "index search".

Not so sure about that. Coming up with the proper keywords is not easy, and users will not love that extra effort. You can be lucky, if they use WikiWords. If you think about it, these are index entries -- just the WikiWay.

Still, a search index instead of brute force search is badly missing in TWiki. How about

• Building a Vector Space Search Engine in Perl or a
• latent semantic index search engine. This would be specially useful for a large wiki, where pages are forgotten and very similar ones get recreated
