gedit

gedit is the official GNOME text editor. With TWiki markup syntax highlighting (see the gedit-twiki project), it is a useful tool for TWiki editing.

While aiming at simplicity and ease of use, gedit is a powerful general purpose text editor. gedit features also a flexible plugin system which can be used to dynamically add new advanced features to gedit itself. gedit is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL).

I recommend to package this with installation instructions as a GeditEditorAddOn on twiki.org. This will give the gedit/TWiki integration more exposure. More at AddOnPackageHowTo.
