3. Coordinate TWiki Release 4.2

• Desired outcome: Decide on tentative dates for string freeze and other dates; identify and assign action items

• Feature freeze (last day to checkin new features): Monday 28 May 2007.
  • Still in effect
  • Feature freeze includes skin and templates!
• Beta release:
  • Best guess is now 23 July 2007 for first beta
• Earliest release date (can be delayed if too many bugs are open or tests fail):
  • Probably in August now

You were on a plane, Crawford had guests, Arthur had a deadline and only had time for a short Hi. We were only a few people. Sven and I had a nice chat about whisky, beer, bicycles, Tour de France...

Only serious content was that I reminded the few present to give feedback on CallingAllWysiwygUsers so we can help Crawford getting Wysiwyg moving.

Any plans for a string freeze?

Although I don't have the time to follow TWiki development as close as I wanted to, I'm still willing to coordinate the translation efforts. But for that I need a time window long enough to coordinate with translators ...

Having TWiki fully translated is important for me, both as a personal goal (TWiki for everyone) and as a business need, so I'll make it happen given the needed conditions.

We have not discussed it yet. We are still not at a quality level where we can release a beta version.
