discussion continued from EasierExternalLinking
Could this principle [of EasierExternalLinking] also be used for internal links, like: [[WebHome This is my homepage]] ?

Yes, definitely - shouldn't be that hard to do, and would help simplify the syntax. I don't think there are any drawbacks since it's easy to match a
WikiWord as the first word. I did quite a lot of grovelling around in the TWiki.pm code for all this as part of the
I18N work, so I'm reasonably familiar with how this works.
The mailto: link format also supports something similar, as well as the original format - see
EmailThisPageLink for examples.

The
[[WebHome This is my homepage]] rule cannot be implemented easily because it conflicts with the existing
WikiWordswithSpaces rule. There are issues with that rule, see
WikiWordsWithSpacesBreakPredictability and
SpacesInTopicNamesIssue.

I do like the idea of
QBulletts

- I think this is a useful feature when the icons are placed automatically, for instance in search results or sitemaps. I don't like the animations however.
Any idea where to start?

What about using a pipe between the topic and text?
[[WebHome | This is my homepage]] This is something I've used for other cms systems, but I haven't looked at the regex's lately to see if this would work in TWiki.

The idea is to simplify the sytax from [[ ][ ]]. Replacing the middle ][ with | actually makes it harder to type. The space separation is already working well in
EasierExternalLinking and this feature should implement it in the same way for internal links.
Note: a Workaround for now is to use the
TWiki:InterSiteLinkRules inter wiki/site syntax [[TWiki:TWiki.InterSiteLinkRules inter wiki/site syntax]].
