Bug: Corrupting posts and previews , especially TWikiPreferences
Test case
Brand new install of 03/Feb/03 release, on www.phpwebhosting.com, specifically www.baanwiki.info/twiki. For example the "PreviewBackgound" image would be repeated about 8 times down the page.
I can give access to any developers needing to test due to this being brand new "not yet live" site.

Follow up
Could you please explain the problem in more details? Also, is it browser specific? What kind of Plugins do you have installed? Any skins activated?

I've tested it my home network under using Linux with Mozilla 1.2, Mozilla 1.0, Netscape 4.79, and on Win NT4.0 under IE6. In all cases posts seem to be getting corrupted. I use www.ntlworld.com as my ISP and they use transparent proxies, inktomi1-cos.server.ntl.com. At work, via different ISP (and proxy) I can update fine using IE6. At the host, phpwebhosting.com, I can update fine using lynx (text based browser). I have no proxies on my home network, only a NAT firewall, from ipcop.org. So I believe the problem is to do with the NTL transparent proxy. I am going to attempt to add some HTTP cache-control headers to change the behaviour of NTLs proxy.

I found out that the NTL proxy was corrupting the POST message before it was reaching the wiki server by adding a print to file section for the
CGI "text" param in "preview". After specifiying to mozilla to explicitly a proxy (still NTLs transparent proxy) on port 8080 the problem was fixed. So caused by buggy transparent proxy at NTL.

Closed, not TWiki related.
