Bug: changes script shows only first revision not second
The
changes script shows, for some pages at revision 1.2, that they are NEW (first revision). The
WebChanges page shows the correct result, verified by checking some pages.
This is not consistent (e.g.
WasIstEinWiki does not show this problem, whereas
CpanReadme,
WebRssAndEUCJPAndMojibakeCorruption and
TOCnotWorkingForChineseHeadings all show this problem.
It is repeatable, and is not a caching problem - one change I made 24 hours ago is not showing up. I haven't seen this happen with changes made by other people but I haven't been looking at those.
Test case
See attached web pages - until more changes are made to the relevant pages, bug should be visible at TWiki.org by using the
changes script and
WebChanges.

Follow up
This is probably down to use of the 'minor changes, don't notify' option (aka Quiet Save) - however, if I'm getting confused about this after some years using TWiki, it's not ideal. IMO the changes script should show the same as
WebChanges, but the 'minor only' changes should not be sent out using
WebNotify.
WebRss is based on a search not the
changes script, so currently it notifies different topics to
WebNotify.
