Can we have the recent blog posts on the front page ?

Dear all,

IMHO it would be really nice to have the recent blog on the front page of TWiki.org, to make it a bit more "sexy" and also a bit more "alive" ;-). For a new comer (i.e. like me) it's not easy to find the blog which has interesting information and moreover shows that TWiki is a project being actively develop.

Not long ago, Peter as posted here on how to increase the number of download of Twiki, if you let me add my 2 cents (but don't get me wrong, I don't want to hurt anyone) I would suggest that increasing the number of dowload is no only a matter of the TWiki as a software and its features its also a matter of how "sexy" TWiki home is and how attractive it is. The main advocate for this is Twiki.org so I would suggest to focus our effort to make it more "user friendly" (there are to many things at to many different places) and the new information about the project on a regular basis.

Again IMHO Twiki.org is not state-of-the-art in the communication with the outside community. If you take some time to look around on other OSS project on un increasing trend you may notice that they use tere home page to inform the rest of the world about what is incoming in the project, can't we do that here ?

I'm not sure that this the right place to post this ! I even not sure that someone will read me !!

Anyway, having the blog up on the front page was a goal from the beginning of the blog. Next to the already mentioned topics, theres TWikiBlogAndNewsletter that discusses this explicitly.

As an interim step, I added a link to the blog web in sidebar of the the twiki.org homepage.

Peter thanks for adding a link in the sidebar, but it's not so easy to catch it. Why not putting a New in front of it or something that will highlight it ?
