Introduction to the First BTEC Wiki?

Welcome to a our wiki, an interactive teacher-student resource written for BTEC National Sport courses (Edexcel). Want to know more about wikis? This wiki has three main components.

The Learning Bank

‘To teach is to learn twice.’

The LearningBank is the CORE teacher-learner resource, where teachers and students can contribute to the development of an online resources for BTEC National Sport courses. Both teachers and students are encouraged to contribute, but please maintain the structure.

Learning to Learn

Successful students (and teachers) are more than just intelligent and hard working. Successful students or academic athletes are also highly skilled, efficient learners. Academic athletes know what and why they are are learning but also how, when and where they learn. Do YOU? LearningtoLearn will give you an insight on the skills, techniques and strategies that academic athletes use to accelerate their learning.

The Staff Room

The StaffRoom is an area for teachers to share their ideas, concepts and teaching experiences; to comment on what works well in the classroom and what needs review. As students, I dont think you will be that interested in this area, but I cant stop you taking a peek.
