XHTML-like TWiki tags should be banned

There are enough BrowserBugs that you'll need to ValidateCSS to before DebuggingCSS.

Tags such as <nopublish> are XHTML like. They should outlawed. If the plugin that implements it is not installed then the validation fails. Use a %TWIKILIKE% tag such as %NOPUBLISH%
