XWiki

XWiki is a TWiki clone written in Java which supports many popular features of other Wikis like:

in particular, features that other wikis have and that XWiki should have:

  • Automatic Table of Content using a tag (TWiki has that)
  • Tag libraries to simplify displays of information from the Wiki (SnipSnap has many of these)
  • Advanced plugins like the DatabasePlugin, ChartPlugin and Table sorting plugins of TWiki (Part of this can be done using Groovy and eXo)

XWiki has a more advanced handling of attachments, see UserGuide/Attachments. I like the visibility of the attachment twisty as well, it is hard to miss.

Hi everybody!!

I'd like someone to share his experience/knowledge and, please, help me to point out the main differences between those two products.
My main concerns are related with:

  1. usability (especially regarding the WYSIWYG editor)
  2. security
  3. access control
  4. statistics
  5. auditing features

I'd really appreciate any help.
