filling tracks: I suspect that the intended meaning of this has something to do with adding something like lead in and lead out sectors to a track on a CD -- see
TAO.
Couldn't find any hits on Google that led to a meaning like this when searching on ["filling tracks" CD]. The gist of the meanings all related to describing tracks (songs) on a CD -- some tracks being just "filling" to fill out a CD with a few good tracks, or "floor filling" (or "dance floor filling") tracks.
