E-MAIL SIGNATURES CUSTOMIZATION
In your e-mail program, there should also be a way to customize your
e-mail signature . This
e-mail signature is then attached at the end of the e-mail to identify information about yourself.
Depending on which e-mail program you use, you may have different options to either attach your
e-mail signature on all your e-mails automatically, or to be able to select when to attach your
e-mail signature to your e-mail. You may not want to attach your
e-mail signature to all your e-mails especially if more than one person uses the same e-mail account.
For instance, in a work environment, you may want to include your name, your job position, your office telephone number, and your office fax number in your
e-mail signature . You would not want to include this personal information in personal e-mails. In any case be cautious about revealing too much personal information in any e-mail message that you send because you never know who may see it.
You may want to include in your
e-mail signature a short quote that describes your personality. Click on the link below to see some of these short e-mail quotes that may appeal to you.
CsicShortEmailSignatureQuotes
Remember keep your
e-mail signature short. Any
e-mail signature that is more than four lines is considered an impolite waste of your reader's time.
Also remember do not bother to put your e-mail address in your
e-mail signature , since your e-mail address appears automatically at the top of your message.
