First Report

Incorporated in second report, and reported to the abiword-dev mailing list, it was the crashing after applying Chapter Heading 1 and then Number Heading 1 styles. Since the first report, I found it was much more general.

Second Report

I've attached a document that I created while testing AbiWord 0.9.3.1. It is a very rough document, but I was eager to get some of my observations in front of others. I think some of us should read over this (as I should later) and decide what, if anything, should be addressed before releasing 0.9.3. I think that more discussion and then revision of some of the behaviors with styles is necessary but probably not before the release of 0.9.3. I need to spend more time reviewing what happens in AbiWord and remembering what I’m used to in Test.Word (and that could be a mistake). Maybe we should release this as 0.9.3, and ask that interested people concentrate on testing and commenting on the behavior with styles.

Later, I went through three attempts to clean up and summarize the document. The effort is really not finished, but the third summary (FirstSum3.abw) is posted here for those who might be interested.

Now a fourth summary is posted, which is still not final -- I found a few more items to add.
