Question

For private use i've created the web TOS. I set ALLOWWEBVIEW to my (lokal) TWiki-identity ThomasSchlichting for hiding this web.

Problem: Using "total page history" leads to "You do not have permission to view topic TOS.WebHome" even if i started from "TOS.WebHome".

If ALLOWWEBVIEW is set to null i can view the history as 'normal' TWikiguest-User.

What do i wrong ?

Answer

Do you have partial authentication enabled? See docs in TWikiUserAuthentication. Basically, users need to be tracked by IP address or with cookies (via session plugin)
