Question

What is the proper method for Twiki Specific Links to create a New Target Window?

I have guidelines which specify that all external site links must generate a new window.

I would much prefer to use Twiki Syntax rather than google

Answer

Right now there is no TWiki syntax for doing this. (I wish there was!) For now, you need to use standard html syntax like you did. This would be a good item to submit to FeatureBrainstorming or FeatureEnhancementRequest.

Or provide that functionality in a Plugin. But agreed, that could go into the core.
