If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
Simply follow the
TWiki04.TWikiUpgradeGuide. I suggest to use the manual upgrade steps, I the upgrade script is not that reliable.

I have followed the guidelines from the link you posted on manually upgrading from Cairo to Dakar Release. I have run configure and set the Path and etc. Installation and webserver reconfiguration was successful, but the pages were distorted while browsing(Please see attached HTML
SandboxWebHome.html)

Mark, please see my question and answer
AfterUpgradeLayoutUpsideDown from my upgrade work this weekend. I saw the same results you show in the attachment. Some manual "clean up" is required after using the UpgradeTwiki script.

I did follow the manual installation from
TWikiUpgradeGuide that Peter suggested. But When copying files from my /twiki/data/TWiki folder I didn't overwrite the files of TWiki Release 4.0.5 version 1.1. Thus giving me links to new documentations and configuration.
Also I had to edit the
WebLeftBar for each of my webs so that it would have the look and feel of the new twiki version.
Thanks guys for the help.
Cheers
