Something is causing a space to be added in the variable /p/pub/TWiki06x01/TWikiDocGraphics/empty.gif

/p/pub/TWiki06x01/TWikiDocGraphics/empty.gif - the space appears just before the final forward slash. Can anyone suggest what is causing this?

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

This is caused by a known bug in WYSIWYG editing of TWiki 4.2. To fix occurrences in your topics, I'm afraid that the only way to do this is to manually raw-edit the topics and to remove the space frown

Thanks you Harald but:

  1. I am not using the WYSIWYG editor
  2. I have no control over how the url is written as the error occurs when using %ICON{}% variable
  3. I have another installation on exactly the same platform where it does not happen.

Very strange but annoying.

May be you have a corruption caused by the use of the WYSIWYG in the TWiki.TWikiPreferences topic what produces this behaviour. Try restoring an original copy of TWiki.TWikiPreferences. Check out LeftBarBug
