Question

I recently upgraded to the 02-Sep-2004 release from a really old (2001) version of TWiki. It's great!

Anyway, I have included "Set SKIN = pattern" in TWikiPreferences and in WebPreferences for my webs, but I only get the pattern skin if I include "Set SKIN = pattern" in my User Preferences or if I include "?skin=pattern" in the url.

I'm sure I'm being dumb, and it's a cockpit problem of some sort. But I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions?

THanks!

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease02Sep2004
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: RedHat
Web server: Apache
Perl version: 5.8.1
Client OS: os x
Web Browser: Safari
Categories: Skin

Answer

I figured it out! In my personal preferences I included the line "SKIN = ", which I had assumed would not have any effect. In fact, this has the same effect as "SKIN = default". The problem was fixed by deleting the "SKIN = ..." line completely from my personal preferences.

Thanks!
