SID-01634: Having a DDOS issue with TWiki 4.1.2

It seems that if anyone uses any browser and types in the URL:

http://wiki.site.xx/twiki/bin/view/TWiki/WebHome+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

(the number of pluses doesn't matter - needs to be at least 10)

An infinitely growing (in memory) egrep is spawned. This eventually floods all swap space and the system slows to a crawl.

Has anyone else run into this, and how did they solve it?
