Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.1.1 Perl version: 5.8.4
Category: CategoryAttachments Server OS: Solaris 10 X86 64 bit Last update: 13 years ago

Hi Peter,

We had one more issue after upgrading from 4.1.2 to 5.1.2. When we attach any file using attach button it would not attach.. it takes to Browse files and after selecting the file it will show in red color and after giving comment and cliking on attach the page loads and if we check the attachment dosen't appear. But i can attach files using WYSWYG editor... users want to attach using attach button located on webpage.. Please help me with this issue..

Thanks, Raju

Discussion and Answer

Not sure.

  • Append a ?raw=debug to the URL and check if the META:FILEATTACHMENT of the attachment exists
  • On shell level, see if the file exists in twiki/Yourweb/YourTopic/yourfile.txt, and check the permissions
  • Test with a non-IE browser
