Dear Developers and fellow users,
When I edit a single-line topic page in WYSIWG mode, the line disappears as soon as I enter <RETURN>.
This occurs if the single-line is either the new topic page author/timestamp or a single-line I've entered. This does not occur if there are already more than one line on the page. Also, this does not occur if I am editing in RAW mode.
I tried updating HTML::Parser Perl module; the current version is 3.69.
How do I fix this? Is there a
TinyMCEPlugin preference I need to set?
Thanks,
LawrenceWalker

Discussion and Answer
I can't verify this. Could you describe step by step? What browser & version do you use?

I am using Firefox 14.0.1.
Since I have changed the
TWiki.WebTopicEditTemplate, I have been having problem repeating the behavior of the disappearing line.
However, I am getting a new but similar problem.
Here is what I have done to get the new problem:
- Delete the contents of
TWiki.WebTopicEditTemplate.
- Goto Sandbox web.
- Select Edit to enter a wikiword. Select Save.
- Select the wikiword link. (This brings me to a new topic page named by wikiword.)
- Select Edit and then enter some text. Select Save.
- Navigate to Sandbox web.
- Again, select the wikiword link. (Observe the entered text from step 5.)
- Select Edit. Here I observed that the entered text does not appear in the Edit box. Select Cancel.
- Sometimes when I repeat the previous two steps, the text does appear in the Edit box.

This happens to me as well.
Using Firefox v20 on SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 (x86_64) v3.0.38-0.5-default
Let me know if there's any further information I can provide.
This does not happen using Windows 2008 Firefox v20

Changing status to Asked Question.
This behavior also only happens to only a select few TWiki sites.
Thank you
