SID-01450: Upload.pm problem

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.1.1 Perl version:
Category: CategoryAttachments Server OS: SUN OS Last update: 14 years ago

syntax error at ../twiki/lib/TWiki/UI/Upload.pm line 364, at EOF Missing right curly or square bracket at /var/apache2/htdocs/twiki/lib/TWiki/UI/Upload.pm line 364, at end of line

I am not sure what went wrong. All I did was I tried to apply the patch for file attachments with IE. But now I find some contents missing from this Upload.pm file from line 364 onwards.

Discussion and Answer

I tried to copy a fresh upload.pm from another installation. but it is not being copied completely. It only copies 130-140 lines.

I also tried to copy the remaining lines i.e from line no. 364 on wards but once I save and close the file it gets back to 364 lines only.

Guess when I applied the patch, saved and closed the file then also same thing happened that it wasn't completely saved and the rest of the lines got deleted. Its a bit wierd behaviour.
