hey everyone,
my test user can change any user information. for example he can change the department, organization, etc of my admin user.
can i restrict that ? how ?
(i don`t really want to restrict very much but this seems a bit too much

oh my, this has already been answered here

sorry about that

ok i tried to follow it, and it kinda works but there are side effects to it.
the solution mentioned above says i need to edit the "Main.NewUserTemplate". It doesn`t exist so i follow the Instructions from "ManagingUsers" and copy the existing Twiki Templates into new Main Templates.
I register a new User and test if he can edit other Users - he can`t. However, the new User doesn`t show up in the user list - wich kinda freaks me out
where did i make the wrong turn ?
i`d be more than happy if anyone could help me out here!

You need to add the user form to the new user template topic. Copy first the user form from the TWiki web to the Main web. You can also add the user form to user profile pages if missing: Edit the page and add form.
