Guys, I am a first time user for twiki and having problems with registration. I successfully installed 4.2 version on linux ,apache platform. While trying to register the first user into the admin group, while clicking the edit link I get the following error (Access check on
TWikiAdminUser failed. Action "CHANGE": access not allowed on web) .
I am logged into the internal admin user page successfully. I can not create a new topic too.
I know I am doing something real stupid but can't figure out the what. I have checked the htppass file too for users and checked the main.twiki folder as well. Users that I register are getting updated correctly but as an admin I can not edit the page

Login as
admin with the configure password. Edit the WebPreferences page in your Main web and remove the ALLOWWEBCHANGE restriction. This will let anyone create pages in the Main web.
To declare yourself as an admin, add your WikiName to the TWikiAdminGroup in the Main web. Again, login as
admin to do that for the first time.

I tried editing the
WebPreference page but got the same error. This actually takes me to the same "TWiki Administrator Group" page and when I click edit the topic on the top right hand get the access denied error. I know I am an admin cause it states in the config file.
