Question

Most of my topics have a WebForm attached. However we don't use this functionality. I have changed my WebPreferences to say

      * WebForm =

But that doesn't remove the webform from existing pages, even if I edit them. How can I do this? I suspect it's something related with metadata but I haven't figured out how this works.

Environment

Server OS: Windows 2000
Web server: Apache 1.3

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

OK, I removed the META thing from the template. Is that the proper way to do this?

That is correct. If you want to remove the form from existing topics you need to edit one topic by one , "change form", and select "none". Alternatively use the GlobalReplacePlugin to remove forms in batch mode.
