Question

I get error:"Not Found The requested URL /twiki/pub/TWiki/MsOfficeAttachmentsAsHTMLPlugin/$convertedAttachmentPath was not found on this server."

What is that file, where do I find it? Thanks.

Answer

NOte the $ , its where the html file that was generated from your .doc file is stored. Have you tried to upload an attachment yet ?

I have uploaded attachment, but got an error: The requested URL /twiki/pub/Sandbox/TestTopic2/_MsOfficeAttachmentsAsHTMLPlugin/balancing.doc.html was not found on this server.

There is no such file on server "balancing.doc.html". File is attached, but not converted in html.

And also on my MsOffice plugin page there's a link to some file "wvWiki.xml", but it's not valid.

Did you ensure wvHtml is installed?

I've installed wv-1.0.2.exe from sourceforge on my windows client machine, but I can't even imagine how it works.

It needs to be installed on the same machine running TWiki. If TWiki is not running on your windows box then you need to reinstall wvHtml, this time on the server.

Thanks, everything works fine, except the problem with utf-8 encodings. How do I convert pages to koi8-r?

file wvWiki.xml is referenced as attachement from the plugin html page found in the installation package, but it doesn't exist. It should either be removed as an attachement, or added to the installation package. Search http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=wvWiki.xml&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 shows error about it on most installations.
