Question

I have trying to modify the WebLeftBar of the skin that comes by default (Pattern). While there is documentation on how to resize and organise the header, there is no documentation on modifying the WebLeftBar - how do I go about doing this ?

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x01x01
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: RedHat
Web server: Apache
Perl version:
Client OS: MS-XP
Web Browser: FF
Categories: Skin

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

I am not sure I understand the question. If you want to change the content of the WebLeftBar, simply edit that topic (in each web.)

Peter, yes, I did not know it was that simple. And somehow, I did not find any reference to the WebLeftBar topic for every web in any documentation either.

I would like to ask one more question here : I read a lot on templates. But I am still not sure how I can modify the header (which by default comes with Edit, Printable and Attach links) for every web I create ? For some webs, I may need to override the standard header entirely and for some, I may need to just add more links.

How do I achieve this ?

See TWikiSkins for general info; and PatternSkin / PatternSkinCustomization for Pattern skin.
