Question

.I've installed, reinstalled and played around with TWiki. Everything seems to work, however, when I try to create a user (it actually adds the user to the Users List), or when I click on [More] in the footer, I get the following page error.

TWiki Installation Error

Template file oops.tmpl not found or template directory /usr/home/htdocs/users/c01389/chen/javtech.com/html/twiki/templates not found.

Check the $templateDir variable in TWiki.cfg.

The directory path is correct, but I cannot find any template called oops.tmpl. Where can I get this?

  • TWiki version: Dec. 2001
  • Web server: Apache
  • Server OS: FREE BSD
  • Web browser: IE 5.5
  • Client OS: Windows 2000

Answer

The template files come with the ZIP distribution. You need to configure TWiki to find them, run the testenv script to find out. You can download the latest version from CVSget:bin/testenv.
