Question

Hello,

I only see the standard Twiki Group by checking the %GROUPS% Variable in Twiki 4.2 with LdapContrib. Is this a bug in the beta version or a configuration problem. I have the same configurations in my Twiki 4.1.2 and there are no problems with the Ldap Groups.

LdapContrib does not work on TWiki-4.2. TWiki's user code has completely been rewritten and as a consequence the LdapConntrib has to be adjusted to serve the new internal APIs.

Does that imply that users who depend on LdapContrib can't update to 4.2 unless someone (?) would be kind enough to update LdapContrib first? In the LdapContrib topic it says that it has been tested on 4.2 (well, it doesn't mention anything about the outcome of this test...).

That's right, Martin. Don't upgrade to 4.2 if you depend on LdapContrib. Stay with 4.1.2. I removed the 4.2 flag from the LdapContrib. I will port it to 4.2 as soon as 4.2 becomes a reality in the market. Sorry for that info, but these are my priorities for now.
